Intitulat War in the North, jocul, va fi lansat in Europa in luna Noiembrie pentru Playstation 3, Xbox 360 si Windows PC, versiunea Collector's Edition fiind si ea lansata in aceeasi luna.

Creat de Snowblind Studios, The Lord of the Rings: War in the North este un Action-RPG ce dispune de un sistem unic cooperativ cu 3 jucatori. Acestia vor fi nevoiti sa se lupte sa exploreze si sa se aventureasca impreuna, fiecare avand datoria sa isi completeze coechipierul, clasele disponibile avand diferite plusuri si minusuri.
